From Glory To Goo Patch Notes — June 19, 2026

This update contains various changes and bug fixes reported by the community. Let me know on Discord or on the Steam forums if you encounter any bugs or have suggestions.
Campaign
The mission selection screen will now stay open if you navigate to another window
Added more tooltips to various world map windows and some other small GUI changes
Balance
Increased the vision range of the Commando 0.45 -> 0.55
Bunkers now increase the sight range of garrisoned units by 0.1
Energy regen is no longer paused while your captain is being attacked
General
Small hordes now "end" slightly sooner to reduce the need to clean up stragglers
Reduced the autosave cooldown if an autosave was blocked by a current wave
Bug Fixes
Fixed the captain's model changing to the default if the game is paused and you open the level up window
Fixed alien horde spawners on custom maps not losing their spawn capability on death
Fixed terraform getting stuck on ruin floor
Fixed the yoyo's visuals
The Autocast state of unit skills is now included in saves
Some minor GUI changes and fixes
0.4 - Small Sneak Peek
Alongside adding a new faction and other content, in 0.4 various GUI windows will be getting a bit of a visual overhaul to align them more closely with the campaign panel design.
0.4 is still targeted to reach the open testing branch in July, for release in August. A huge thanks to everyone who continues to provide feedback on the game across the Steam forums, Discord, reviews and elsewhere.
