From Glory To Goo Patch Notes — May 23, 2026

This update contains various changes and bug fixes reported by the community. Let me know on Discord or on the Steam forums if you encounter any bugs or have suggestions.
Work on the next update, which introduces the third playable faction, is going well. I'm aiming to have it on the open testing branch end of June/early July.
Campaign
Heatshield - Waves are now spaced out slightly more. Added a bit more greenery near the starting area.
Map Editor
Added a drop down to the map editor so you can change the map's biome rather than relying on randomize. You may need to change this for previously created maps.
Bug Fixes
Fixed Mining Drills being targetable when deployed from space
Fixed the forge and recycler GUIs overlapping
Fixed custom map tile-sets not always matching the biome.
Fixed the drill mine upgrade button disappearing on click even if you don't have enough resources
Fixed the base 5 crew and launcher crew use not being included in the ship crew preview count.
Fixed water not always resseting correctly on buildings that have been upgraded when Life Support turns off
Fixed the tech tree not loading correctly if you load a non-campaign saved game directly from the campaign
Centered the laser skill target detection when targeting enemy buildings
Fixed the captain level up + remaining after level up if the game is paused
