From Glory To Goo Patch Notes — June 7, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hey Everyone,
This update contains various changes and bug fixes reported by the community. Let me know on Discord or on the Steam forums if you encounter any bugs or have suggestions.
As mentioned in previous notes. Work continues on 0.4. It will likely move to closed testing in the next week or 2 with open testing starting end of June or July.
Map Editor
Added the ability to access xml files in the mods folder for custom in-game text. The "speaker" references pre-made portraits. A list of speaker names is in the mods readme file. For now these xml files will need to be distributed separately to the Steam workshop if you want to include text.
An XML file like the below should be placed in a folder in your mods folder. Then you can create a showMapEventPanel trigger action that references this file and the "conversation id".
Delete wave in the map editor now only deletes that wave for the selected difficulty
Other
Added the commando as a recruitment option for custom captains
