Voice Actors, Preview for Eight Languages
BlazeSky Patch Notes — July 26, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Several characters now have preliminary voice actors added (not all, yet). The audio is currently being reworked and remixed. For example, music will eventually fade out when dialog is spoken, that's not quite in yet.
All of the game text with the exception of the main story missions is now "translated" via Google Translate. This is a first step toward full localization - once the voice actors are done, the final script is locked. Then there will be a Google Translate pass, and finally a native speaker pass.
Here are the new work-in-progress languages:
- Spanish
- French
- Italian
- German
- Russian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
If you happen to speak one of those languages, give it a try!
There have been a lot of other updates, including:
- Diagnostics button under settings (to assist with trouble shooting & bug reporting)
- Merchants now will show statistics and deltas when compared with the currently equipped item
- Fonts for many HUD elements are now larger and much easier to read
- Quest HUD destination icons are now thicker/clearer
As always, if you run into any issues please let report at https://doublerobot.com/contact - and thank you for your support!
