Darza's Dominion Patch Notes — May 25, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Added a new dungeon-spawning system: Memories.
Memories will be solo dungeons made as extensions to existing content, either boss fights or short encounters with their own driving gimmick and a time limit. They wont come with all the bells and whistles of other dungeons, but they will provide more accessible avenues for us to stack onto the available content of the game-- especially in the "advanced" difficulty which is meant to be numerically oppressive to the current limits of progression. They will generally have secret easter-eggy entry methods, so that newer players don't come upon them by accident.
New Memory Dungeon: Memory of Honey (High-Experienced difficulty).
This one won't be too much of a secret for you, since you're taking the time to read this :) Teleport back to the Waystone after completion of The Honey Hive. The Statue at the center of the room will have new dialogue for you... Good Luck!
Other Addition(s)
Added Steam Rich Presence
Changes
Reduced Max Range for Targeted Abilities to 7
(Developer Note: Iterating on balancing of targeted abilities as we both try to balance between platforms and implement more game systems that can make use of them. 7 tiles won't feel very good for apothecary mortars, apologize for that, but next weeks patch will feature a more dynamic iteration where the implementation should be less hindering)
Reduced Experienced+ Dungeon Chain Cap to 1
Reduced Intermediate- Dungeon Chain Cap to 2
(Developer Note: Dungeon chains were going on a bit too long, offering too-frictionless and consistent entry to the dungeon crawling part of the game. The system overall feels good for keeping you doing the stuff you want, farming the gear you want in the group size you want, but there needs to be a bit more to break up the gameplay loop than 3 shrines in a row)
Increased Player Light brightness slightly
Decreased Ambient Lighting Level of some areas slightly
(Developer Note: It seems the Player Light will allow us to explore some darker areas without compromising the gameplay experience, let us know if anything is too dark... just make sure your brightness is up first)
Fixes
Fixed Steam Achievements not being rewarded for some people
Fixed the Game Window being clickable even when tabbed out
Presumptive Fixes for some long standing issues transferring guilds
Presumptive Fix for a rollback that would happen when disconnecting during world transfer
