Hi Everyone,
The past few days, I've been working around the clock to try and fix a multiplayer disconnection issue. This disconnect tends to appear whenever there is an FPS player in the mix.
This patch only alleviate some issues with the online multiplayer, but it doesn't resolve it completely. I decided to release the patch now to avoid further delaying the other bug fixes and improvements I’ve been working on.
Game Version is now 3.0e3b
VR Fixes
fixed VR players being able to punch enemies when dead
fixed VR bullet tracers passing through walls when shot too close to the walls
improved Ballistic Shield's capability to block at close range
increased Ballistic Shield grab collider so it's easier to pick up from back
fixed Double Barrel Shotgun in Mission 2
Left hand mode accessibility settings have been split up into
Left Hand Locomotion (only locomotion is swapped)
Health UI Swap (only VR Health bars are swapped)
Weapon Swap (only weapon spawns are swapped)
Menu UI swap (only Menu UI controls are swapped)
Enemy Fixes
updated enemy hit detection at higher bullet velocities
enemy shotgunners now have a 0.2 - 0.3 second delay between fully aiming and firing their shot
enemy shotgunners now shoot 4 pellets per shot instead of 10
This nerf will significantly reduce the enemy shotgunners chance to one shot you at long range. It's still possible if you're unlucky and you don't have the body armor perk!
FPS Fixes
added an additional check that prevents players from shooting until Sprint -> Idle animation is fully completed
fps players can no longer push enemies when dead
fixed Rocket launcher rockets not being able to hurt other players
fixed some of the FPS SWAT arm textures that were unintentionally glossy
fixed Shepherd-MG not working properly
Misc Fixes
missing wall collider in Mission 9 (Hospital Level)
floating cups in Mission 4 (Bank Level)
floating cactus in Mission 4 (Bank Level)
missing colliders in Shooting Range
extra window in Map 5 (Warehouse)
added missing Navigation collider in Map 5 (warehouse)
fixed MP issue where VR players can boost up the FPS players final score
Thank you everyone for your feedback! Hope everyone is enjoying the patch so far. The multiplayer disconnection issue for Desktop players is going to be top priority for me the next few days! Rest assured, I will get to the bottom of it!
