Hey dudes
This is a small update before the more significant updates that are to follow.
I was ill on and off for the past three weeks (no strange orb or fog here lol) and this update is a simple way to get the ball rolling again, and it's proof of life.
Changelog:
- Mech can now "sprint"
- Mines health decreased to 1 hit point
- Heavy Machine Gun accuracy increased
- Submachine Gun accuracy increased, damage decreased by 1
- Improved Weapon Case choice detection
The biggest change here is that the Mech can now move faster by holding the sprint button.
It looks a bit silly, but you guys wanted it and I'm happy to oblige.
Content Pipeline
I'm going to break the content update up into smaller, more manageable pieces.
This will make it easier to iterate and fix anything that comes with it as a by-product.
Here is how I'm going to approach it:
- Difficulty Update - Menu with options to customize you gameplay difficulty
- Maps Update - Four campaign missions and two Survival missions
- Customization/Cosmetic Update - Menu where you can change player, team and vehicle skins
Most of the Difficulty update is already in place, just need to create more assets to make it work.
This involves having new enemy units to increase the challenge (if you so choose).
Also I'll be adding a Tank vehicle and possibly a flying type of vehicle.
If it all works out, you'll be able to enable them from the Difficulty menu.
These are mostly for fun, and I consider them extra's.
It'll be out soon I hope.
Conclusion
I'm trying to get into the groove of things again, so apologies if things are a bit slow in the beginning.
As usual let me know if you guys have any suggestions or questions.
Hope 2025 treats you guys and your loved ones well, no matter your background or beliefs.
Love ya guyzzz
