🔴 PUSH THE BUTTON 🔴
The Enjenir: The Engineering Physics Building Simulator Patch Notes — October 16, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello Enjenirs,
A nice little update for you folk, which brings about two changes:
🟡 Buttons!
- Now you can place triggerable buttons in your scene that react when they are physically pressed in-game! This means you can make physics-enabled triggers that activate events when something presses down on them.
- To use these buttons, use the Select tool to choose them, add links to the items you want to trigger:

- Then within those items, choose the desired action for the button to control:

- You can also scale the button to different sizes and even change the stiffness to make it easier or harder to press.
🧍 Updated Suite of Characters!
- We’ve added a series of new characters into the game, both as NPCs and as playable characters!

- These include the classic cast that’s been in the game since the start - Fionn the Farmer, Rich Lord Campbell, and others - now available as fully 3D models in-game to give players more variety to experiment with!
👑 Community Challenge Results!
- We'll be posting the results of the latest community challenges soon, so stay tuned!

The game is really starting to shape up as we continue to work towards the 1.0 release. There’s still lots to do - including designing the final level, End Game Island, and completely reworking the tutorial to better teach all the mechanics of the game. The tutorial has remained mostly unchanged since launch, despite the addition of tons of new and complex systems, so we’re aware it needs an overhaul to help new players ease into the gameplay experience.
As we approach version 1.0, we’re also looking into localisation and revisiting Steam Deck support for the controls - so there’s still plenty ahead!
Until the next update - enjoy!
