Shelter Manager Patch Notes — November 1, 2021
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
It's time for you to vote for the update that's worth implementing.
At the moment, in addition to minor edits, we're working on a solid tutorial for the Sandbox. When we're done, players will be able to play the Sandbox immediately, but there will be a must-see 40-step tutorial that will explain the basics of the game.
We're also working on a very big update which includes:
- Drone
- Expeditions
- Marauders
This update will make the game much more dynamic
We want your opinion on what we should do next. Please leave a number in the comments of the update you feel we need the most:
1. To add more missions to the campaign. There are 8 missions in the campaign at the moment. We can extend the story and increase the number of missions to 12. If this is most important to you, please leave the comment as "1"!
2. Right now there is only a map of the U.S. in the game. Should we add two more maps to the sandbox - Europe and Asia? If that's what you wish - vote for "2"!
3. At the moment, there are 11 types of rooms to build in the game. Would it be a good idea to increase this number? Leave a comment of "3" if that's more important for you than anything else!
4. We have worked through the first three missions with hints. It is possible to pass these missions by simply following these hints. Should we add more hints to the rest of the missions? So the players can get through the rest of the missions if the "advanced hints" feature is on. If that's what we need to focus on, then let us know by writing "4"!
5. Right now there is no setting for difficulty in missions. Shouldn't we add a difficulty selection option? So you can decide if you prefer an easy level, or are you ready to challenge yourself and complete the mission on maximum difficulty? If this will improve the game better than other options - tell us that by writing "5" in the comments!
We have so many ideas and thoughts on how we can improve the game. However, without feedback, we may choose something we don't really need.
Help us out - tell us which direction to take to make Shelter Manager better ;)
Thank you for the support, and as you can see, we are trying in return! :)
