🛠️ Seven Cities – Patch Notes v0.2.4
Today’s update is focused on improving combat flow and reducing overwhelming enemy pressure. You should now experience more strategic, pack-based encounters. Let us know how it feels — your feedback is essential in shaping the future of Seven Cities!
🎮 Gameplay Improvements
- Adjusted enemy pacing to reduce overload and promote cleaner pack-to-pack combat flow.
- Subway C1: Increased the size of the second room for better gameplay spacing.
- Sunrise Story Map: Updated enemy spawner to reduce the number of Explosive Guardians.
- Shotgun animation updated — no longer requires holding right-click to fire the first shot.
- Fixed second melee animation not dealing damage properly.
💥 Grenade Specialization Rework
- Rank 1: Increase explosion radius
- Rank 2: Add extra projectiles
- Rank 3: Enable pooling (better control / optimization)
Specialization nodes for Grenades have been redistributed for better progression:
🔧 Crafting & Codex
- Crafting of handguns is now available in the crafting system.
- Updated craft reroll level 20 display in E-ARPIX progression.
- Codex panel: Added localization and info on how to obtain materials.
🧪 Bug Fixes & Balancing
- Fixed Explosive Guardian dealing damage after death or while invisible.
- Fixed force chase bug where enemies aggressively pursued the player improperly.
- Reduced HP for enemies under level 5 for smoother early-game combat.
- Scorepod damage increased from 3 ➜ 8
