This is what we've all been waiting for... we are thrilled to announce that Hotel Architect is out now in 1.0!
Complete with deeper management systems, a brand-new custom sandbox mode, difficulty options, more locations than ever before, and much much more... Now is the time to check-in to Hotel Architect as it enters version 1.0, following one year in early access development which was heavily influenced and shaped by you, our community!

What's Included?
8 Locations to Check-in to - With varying map sizes, floors and climates, each complete with their own Scenario and Free Play Modes.
A Full Campaign - Complete objectives in the Scenario mode to advance across 8 locations and earn exclusive rewards.
Free Play Modes - Tied to each location. When you have completed the main objectives across each scenario mode, you can unlock the 'Free Play' mode, which lets you freely design, build and manage a hotel from scratch.
Custom Sandbox Mode - Adjust the map size and location of your hotel, and tailor your gameplay settings, so that you can build your dream hotel YOUR way!
Difficulty Options - Available across the Scenario, Free Play and Custom Game Modes.
6 Different Guest Types - Who may check-in alone, or as a couple! Each guest type has their own unique set of needs when checking-in to a hotel.
Numerous Zones to place, build and design. Including hotel staples such as receptions and bedrooms, as well more luxury amenities such as Spa's and Casino's!
Gardens, Balconies and Outdoor Spaces - Because exterior decoration is just as important as interior decoration when you're trying to impress your guests (and critics!)
Multiple Staff Members to Manage - Hire, fire and manage staff including receptionists, bellhops, cleaners and more, each with their own set of personality traits. that may have positive, or negative, consequences.
Staff Training - Improve the work rate of your staff by teaching them new skills.
Dynamic Building - Design your layouts, hire constructors, and watch as your vision comes to life. This does require careful planning however, as a builder breaking down a bedroom wall at 4am is not going to please your harshest critics.




What has changed?
For those of you who have been checked-in with us for a little while now, you're probably wondering, "aside from all of this AMAZING new content, including 2 new locations, new difficulty settings, and a custom sandbox mode... what else has changed about the game?'
Well, let me tell you!
2 New Locations: London and the Black Forest! These include a total of 48 new objectives, each with a unique reward to unlock.
12 New Steam Achievements added for all you achievement hunters out there!
Couples can now check-in to your hotel, as long as you have met the necessary requirements (either two single beds or one double bed, and a luggage storage space each).
Balconies are now available! Add an extra touch to boost guest satisfaction and create more luxurious hotel layouts.
Many New Items which can be used across ALL locations, including new outdoor items, fences, pillars and more!
Restaurants and Bars Zones can now be set outdoors, offering the perfect view for your guests to enjoy their food and drinks!
New Food Dishes and Drinks so that your guests can enjoy even more variety in the hotel restaurants and bars!
The Upgrade Tree has evolved! You now receive upgrade points from guests as well as critics. Upgrades are now tier-based, with some upgrades being optional while others are required to progress further.
Opportunities have expanded, and will now only appear when you need them most. Running low on cash? Perhaps it's time to lease your land to some wind turbines. Made a change that will impress a critic? Well, why not call them in right NOW?
Critics may now raise the star level by more than one (if you meet their requirements). Do not worry though, you can still only drop by 1 star at a time.
Hotel Art now plays a bigger role. Fancier decorations are now classified as "Premium" or "Masterpieces", and are necessary to earn top ratings from upper crust guests.
The Stock Market - This can be found in the financial overview tab once unlocked in the upgrade tree. Invest stocks in a range of companies, and watch as your shares rise or fall, before cashing out to (hopefully) generate a profit!
Customisation for the Scenario and Free Play Modes - Alongside difficulty options, this also allows you to turn off some features such as ghosts, staff aging, and salary management, if they do not suit your play style!
A New Dynamic Main Menu which we think looks very fancy, and we hope that you like it too!
Additional language support including Japanese and Traditional Chinese (subtitles and interface) and German Voice Over.
Playable on Nvidia GeForce NOW - Giving gamers instant access to GeForce PC performance on nearly any PC, Mac, SHIELD TV, Android, iOS device, or Chromebook, without any downloads!
Everything that has been added, amended and changed in the 1.0 version affects every scenario. So, it may be well worth revisiting some of the earlier locations before, or after, checking-in to London and the Black Forest!


General Improvements and Polish:
As well as all of the above, we have implemented a a whole host of general improvements and polish! Here are just a few of them:
Increased max zoom-out distance on bigger maps.
Increased the max speed from 5x to 6x.
Improved the visuals of save thumbnails.
Improved guest queueing behaviour.
Added more keybinds, including the ability to mirror copied rooms.
Added the ability to block specific guest types from using certain doors.
Added 2 extra floor levels in Gothenburg.
Visualizer modes (cleanliness, attractiveness, temperature) are now displayed in 3D, instead of only on a single floor level.
Modified DPI-based UI scaling, to better support a wider range of monitors.
Please note
We have taken extensive measures to ensure backward compatibility, meaning you should be able to continue using your save files from Early Access now that we’re entering 1.0.
However, due to the large number of changes made throughout development, there may still be rare cases where an older save does not work correctly. If this happens, we sincerely apologize, and we hope for your understanding.
And Finally...
Thank you to each and every one of you who has joined us throughout the development journey. Whether you checked-in with us during one of our playtests, at early access, or are joining us today, we are so thankful for your support, feedback and suggestions which have genuinely influenced the game. From the start we wanted Hotel Architect to be a community shaped experience, and many of the features that have arrived in 1.0 are a direct result of that collaboration throughout.
