Hotel Architect Patch Notes — May 29, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello Hoteliers,
Since launching into v1.0 two weeks ago, we've noticed that a few of you are finding the London Scenario, and avoiding total bankruptcy, a little challenging. So today, we've got some tips and tricks to help you progress through this campaign!
Tip #01: Take it SLOW! :RelaxingDrink:
At the start of the London campaign mode, the pause button really is your friend. It will allow you to carefully plan out what you're going to do, like deleting any expensive items, repairing and furnishing rundown bedrooms. The benefit of using the 'pause' button means that all of this can be done as soon as possible, rather than waiting for you to click in real-time.

Tip #02: Staff Management! :DinnerServed:
As Anna mentions in her intro to London, the previous owner had a heart of gold and was EXTREMELY generous towards the staff. You might want to check the current roster of employees you have... and make some adjustments. Look at their salaries, their attributes, and whether you need all of them in the first place. Doing this will help decrease costs to run your hotel.

Tip #03: Sell expensive items! :Eww:
Whilst the hotel is very rundown, oddly, there are many expensive items worth selling to make a quick profit. Selling any paintings, statues, and decorations (especially in the staff rooms!) will all help to greatly reduce your debt.

Tip #04: Pay off high interest loans! :DustOff:
One of the mains reasons this hotel is in such a bad state financially is because of the loans that have been taken out by the previous owner. Some of these have very high interest, so it is in your interest to pay these off as quickly as possible!

Tip #05: Optimize and add Zones :CriticInspection:
There are a number of things you can do to optimize the zones already in place in the London Scenario, for example there are two staff rooms... and they are HUGE. Reducing the size of these will allow you space for things the guests actually want.
Additionally, there are a number of bedroom zones that are incomplete which could be generating you revenue very quickly if you purchase the necessary items. You might also notice upstairs that there are foundations for rooms upstairs already built, meaning all you need to do is create a zone and add the necessary items to build even more bedrooms!

By following these tips and tricks you'll be on the path to profits in no time at all!
