GamePatchNote Digest
Epicenter VR Patch Notes — August 17, 2023
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
This patch addresses quite a few bugs and issues brought to my attention since last month, as well as news related to modding! Thanks to those on my Discord for helping me identify and patch them!
Here's a breakdown of the patch:
- Fixed NPCs walking though machine gun defenses
- Changed NPC behavior in mission 5, they now run to the police station and despawn at its door
- Converted most building's and object's colliders to concave mesh colliders. This should eliminate issues with shooting and moving around affected props
- Every ladder in the world has been updated to be climbable
- Updated colliders on broken fences to allow the player to walk through them
- Fixed misplaced flare VFX in mission 3
- Shortened mission 4 text
- Added a light next to the machine gun in mission 5 to guide the player's eye toward it better
- Extended playable area in the truck-bed during the end sequence
- Scaled down objects and props in the environment (If I missed any, send a screenshot/bug report)
- Added a toggle for the virtual stock
Modding related update!
Also with this update comes a Mono build of the game on a secondary branch! This should help with modding and give anyone interested in doing so easy access to the code.
