Old World test branch update 1.0.83935 Test 2026-06-17
To switch to the test branch, right click Old World in Steam and select Properties, open the Game Versions & Betas tab and select 'test' in the version list.
Design
Minor Cities now count as urban improvements (relevant for ambitions)
DOTA mapscript Separating Terrain choice split into Inner and Outer Terrain, random option added (Empires of the Indus)
UI
Landmark discovery notification added even if popup is shown
When a character mission (eg Imprison) can't be started due to a blocking memory, turns left until the memory will be removed are now shown
Updated law prerequisite event helptext to be clearer
Trait effects on city effects are not listed in a neutral tile tooltip text unless the player has a character with that trait i.e. camp effect from the Butcher's Mask
Yields from military units in territory are always shown in help text, even if there is no military unit present i.e. Happiness from Walls
