To switch to the test branch, right click Old World in Steam and select Properties, open the Game Versions & Betas tab and select 'test' in the version list.
Design
Christianity no longer has a tech requirement
Manichaeism requires Metaphysics instead of Monasticism
Ruthless AI takes into account Time Victory condition
Tweaked Influence Mission events with negative outcomes to be better or rarer
Tile buying costs increase slightly slower and more discretely
Drought no longer creates sand tiles, minimum duration reduced from 3 to 2 turns (Wrath of Gods)
DOTA maps no longer have central lake tiles for jungle and sand separation and instead have ocean adjacent to edge paths (Empires of the Indus)
DOTA maps now have a minimum path width of 3 tiles (Empires of the Indus)
Programming
Fixed memory leak caused by renderer per-frame allocations
AI avoids building non-Settler growth units from cities that have zero citizens
UI
Only player owned occurrence-affected tiles are listed in the turn summary. All visible tiles are still listed in the turn notifications
Tribal Invasion bonus & concept helptext now mention that war will be declared as well
Improvement pings are cleared when making tiles urban
Points to victory no longer shown when points victory is inactive
Bugs Fixed
Fixed Huns appearing near player starts
Fixed units without harvest animations playing broken animations when cutting trees
Fixed observer mode visibility after observed player surrender
Fixed event predicates failing in Japanese and Chinese due to use of localized commas
Fixed bug where wrong city is sometimes selected in bonuses
Fixed Buddhist/Hindu religious improvements being referenced in Tech helptext in Wrath of Gods scenario
