MADNESS: Project Nexus Patch Notes — February 16, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
So, now that we've gotten some practice under our belts turning Gods into plushies, we decided to aim a little higher this time. That's right it's that moody mortal meddler himself, the Auditor! Coming at you not just as a squishy little plush and pin, but also as a t-shirt!
Although we were able to very accurately and adorably capture his visage, we unfortunately couldn't exactly replicate the whole... shadow-flame-teleport-thing... At least not without slapping a few too many extra 0s on the price tag. FORTUNATELY however, we CAN ship him to you anywhere in the world for a low, flat rate. Neat!
These slick new articles will only be available until MARCH 9TH!, so grab yours before they're gone!
Just look at his little sippy cup. Isn't that just precious? Anyways, onto the game news!
We recently pushed a set of updates to both the main and beta branches of the game. Beta branch got a round of bugfixes on Friday, and those got pushed to the main branch earlier today (minus modding, of course.) You can find the patch notes here.
Our main objectives haven't changed from the last update; we're still working on modding implementation for Vessels (character holders/controllers for non-player objects such as vehicles, formerly referred to as 'Seats',) Character Refs (custom character armature) and Automatons (unique hard-coded entities such as bosses.)
We currently have both Vessels and Character Refs in a working state, but they both need some tweaking and proper guides/tutorials before we're ready to release them to the public. In the meantime, here's a small showcase of some of the awesome WIP stuff our modding corps have been able to put together with them!

We can't wait to see what crazy creatures and contraptions y'all whip up with those once they're ready. You won't have to wait long, and we'll make plenty of noise about it once they're good to go. Thank you as always for your continued support, and keep on truckin'!
