Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Changes
Increased drop chances for the Abyssal accessories set
Abyssal Ring, Abyssal Necklace and Abyssal Earrings now have a drop chance of 3.5% (previously 0.1%)
Changed behaviour in the character selection screen
Players will automatically be redirected to character creation if no characters exist
"Join Game" & "New Character" buttons will now blink under certain conditions
Magic Stone of Experience Reset will now force a reconnect after use in order to mitigate some issues
Removed the texture quality option
Due to several ongoing issues, we had to once again remove the option for texture quality for the time being. We are hard at work to fix issues and crashes related to high texture settings once and for all. We apologise for the inconvenience and are trying to resolve this as soon as possible.
Updated titles of several NPCs in towns with better translations
The hunter quests introduced in 2.5.5 can now be bought and turned in at the "Huntress of the Sea" NPC at sea. She's located next to the island of Selina
All NPC ships at sea, all port masters and dock managers now sell all types and levels of shells as well as repair kits
Smiths no longer sell any sea-related items
All bar keepers now sell all types of crew food
Removed appendices from channel names "PVP" and "PVE" to avoid confusion and added "(Popular)" to channel one (Flandria)
No changes have been made to PVE or PVP on all channels. PVP remains on for Flandria and Pardioc while being disabled on Karanir
Applied the same experience bonus from channels Flandria and Pardioc to Karanir. All channels now provide the exact same amount of experience.
