Attention Brigadiers, fresh Patch coming up! It’s great to see that the last few patches have made a lot of our players happy, so we thank you all once again for your feedback and engagement! To summarize, last patch featured:

As promised, this new patch has some more changes and improvements that we hope you’ll enjoy:

😈 A new 8th Trial: Diminution
🕹️GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS
🤝 Wizards are now once again unlocked through completing Quests - any Wizards already unlocked remain unlocked, and any Gold spent on unlocking Wizards will be refunded!
🤝 Trials now simply unlock in order upon every Ascension, as opposed to Ascending a specific amount of times with a specific Wizard.
As a result, all the “Ascend once more” Quests have been absolved, and the Ascension Outfit Quests have been moved to the Outfit Quests.
As a result, the “Completionist” Quest has been changed to complete by unlocking 36 different Outfits.
🤝 Added new UI elements in both the Covenants and Game Over menus to explain more clearly what Devotion does and how much each Trial adds.
🤝 Improved the interactivity, physics and networking of the Spell Cores to make for more intuitive gameplay.
✅ Explosions, Resurrection Beams, Tornadoes and Void Hoppers can now also clear Soul Sludge.
🤝 Reworked the Talon Slash so it no longer divides its Damage over all targets.
🤝 Fixed Talon Slash targeting issue where it would prioritize targets outside its range.
✅ Made it so the Spell Size Mastery also impacts the Talon Slash.
✅ Added maximum ranges to various Boss attacks, so they will be able to track players more consistently.
🤝 Changed the Out With A Bang achievement so it requires you to kill multiple enemies with Knelly’s Death Explosion instead of a Boss.
✅ Locking Improvements has been made less restrictive to increase player agency.
🤝 Added a visual indicator of the Bell March’s lifetime.
✅ Maggie’s trait has been improved to show individual Spell Cores, Statues and Mana Beasts earlier.
🤝 Statues will now receive a ping on their location at the end of the Objective, similar to the Spell Cores and Mana Beasts.
🎨VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS
✅ Improved the visual effect of the Solar Pulse scaling due to the Spell Size Mastery.
✅ The Devotion visual in the lobby player seat has been given some animations for smoother transitions.
✅ Added a custom damage pop up that triggers when the player dies due to the Mortality Trial.
✅ Fixed an issue where the stat buttons in the pause menu would not highlight properly.
✅ Fixed an issue where the stat icons in the pause menu would overlap with text.
⚖️ BALANCING
🤝 Devotion per Trial, and the linked amount of Gold and Wizard Rank XP increases have been slightly rebalanced.
🤝 Improved Gold cost scaling of Ascensions.
🤝 The following Spells have been buffed:
Spear Barrage -> Damage has been increased by 30% - more improvements are planned for the next patch!
Phantom Blades -> Damage has been increased by 10%.
Talon Slash -> Damage has been increased by 20%.
Impish Havoc -> Damage has been increased by 20%.
✅ All Elder Monsters have been given more Health, Move Speed, and Ice Resistance to make them more present. They have also been given specific changes:
Elder Shaman heals more targets for more Health, more frequently.
Elder Bloat Crab’s explosion radius has been increased, with a longer wind up.
Elder Teethy Worm moves significantly faster, but turns slower.
✅ Some early Title unlock conditions have been adjusted.
🙌 QOL
🤝 Implemented a way to refund Enchantments individually.
⚙️STABILITY & BUGFIXES
🤝 The game will now better restore lost Quest progress.
🤝 Matchmaking now prioritizes low latency lobbies.
✅ Fixed a rounding error in Spell Damage number tracking, resulting in mismatches between Damage popups and the numbers in the Stat Menu.
✅ Fixed an issue where the Move Speed Mastery would display an incorrect value in the Enchantments menu.
🤝 Fixed an issue where the Critical Damage Mastery would count each spell cast, as opposed to each non-critical hit.
🤝 Fixed an issue where Crit Bells were not impacted by the Spell Visibility setting.
✅ Fixed an issue where Mana Beasts would sometimes spawn inside the pen.
🤝 Improved reliability when connecting to Steam services.
🤝 Fixed an issue where a player could still join a lobby at the moment the game was starting, causing various issues.

We have one more 1.0 patch planned. In the meantime, we’re also working on some new content for the next few updates! We will share more info on that later. The next patch will have:
