Happy October! It’s finally spooky season and we’ve got an update specially built for Horror’s favorite holiday.
The primary feature of this update are the two new Halloween themed missions that will only be available for the month of October. These missions have customized room and hallway decorations, lighting, and artwork and two separate sets of Halloween themed threats!
There are also some regular-type updates included as well, including more quality of life and stability improvements, as well as gameplay improvements and bug fixes. Check the notes below for the full details.

Gameplay
- 2 Special Halloween themed missions have been added with custom decorated rooms and custom threats!
- Reduced headshot damage multiplier for Doppleganger threats to make them less likely to be 1-shot kills
- Increased the amount of threats that can spawn in throughout a level, and particularly increased the amount that can spawn in after retrieving the crimson drive core for a more intense gameplay experience
- Improved threat AI to be less distracted by weapon fire and substantially less likely to be have their movement halted when hit by it
- Added hit reactions and hit reaction vfx for more satisfying and clear results when hitting threats with weapons
- Added the name of the mission that was selected/played to mission results screen
Art
- Added additional post processing/visual effects around the crimson drive
- Halloween themed room variants added to halloween missions
- Halloween themed hallway variants added to halloween missions
- New artwork added for halloween themed threats
- Added customized screen displays to the hazardous wall screen traps
- More improvements to 1st person helmet interior art
- New flashlight styling for a less 90’s mag-lite looking light shape
Stability & General Bugs
- Doors have been adjusted to be less likely to open too far and occasionally clip through walls
- Fixed sounds that were not triggering properly on a number of threats
- Added new sound fx for zombies
- Fixed hit reactions for almost all threats that were not triggering
- Fixed bug where mines would not be destroyed for clients
- Fixed mine audio to replicate properly for both clients and hosts
- Fixed flashlight pointing at strange / unwanted angles for some tools
- Fixed despawn/death fx for threats to dissolve nicely instead of randomly poofing out of existence
