Into the Radius 2 Patch Notes — June 19, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- After installing the update, we strongly recommend disabling all mods before launching the game. Using outdated or incompatible mods may cause errors, crashes, or other unexpected issues.
- If you played the beta version, make sure to move your save files from %Documents%/My Games/IntoTheRadius2-Beta to %Documents%/My Games/IntoTheRadius2 so you can continue your progress.
- This update includes both the G3 rifle, which was already available in the beta, and the MP5 SMG, the weapon we teased in the latest Dev Diary and originally planned for a later patch.
KNOWN ISSUES
- Clients may sometimes appear under the maze area in Kalasaare Village after teleporting there from the Pechorsk Outskirts portal.
- Modular weapon stats may display incorrectly for Clients in the item info window.
KEY FEATURES
- Four-player Co-op. Co-op has been expanded from two to four players. After completing the tutorial mission, you can host a co-op session and invite friends directly from Steam. Explore the Radius with more friends, coordinate your movements, share supplies, and cover each other as you push deeper into the unknown.
To make communication easier, we’ve also added a walkie-talkie feature. Use it to stay in touch with your team, call out enemy positions, warn each other about danger, or regroup when you lose sight of one another in the field.
Please note that co-op difficulty does not scale with party size. If you are playing with 3 or 4 players, we recommend adjusting the difficulty settings manually depending on your preference. To make this easier, we’ve updated the co-op game setup UI with clearer player count and difficulty options, including quick presets and access to custom difficulty settings. These settings can also be changed in an ongoing game, although some changes will only take effect after the next Tide. - Shooting Range. A new Shooting Range is now available through the Supply Depot. Test weapons before buying them, experiment with attachments and parts, and get a feel for how each setup performs in the field.
We’ve also added the Kill House, which can be played solo or with friends.
In addition, we’ve introduced Magazine Loading Devices.
Automated loaders are available in the Shooting Range and Supply Depot, where they can quickly load magazines with your choice of UNPSC-provided ammo free of charge in the Shooting Range and Kill House, without using Supply Credits outside the Supply Depot.
Manual loaders can be found in the Dormitory and Armory at the Facility, as well as in certain shelters in the Radius. These allow you to quickly load magazines using your own ammo.
