Rogue Station Patch Notes — December 18, 2023

Features:
- New weapon: Rail Gun. Kinetic weapon that fires high-damage extremely high-speed projectiles.
- New weapon: Missile Silo. Missile-based weapon that fires a slow-moving high-health missile that deals extremely high damage.
- New weapon: EMP Wave Generator. Tech weapon that creates an AOE wave disabling most components it hits.
- Added new manager Catsie. Ability: gains extra bounces on each projectile, but the number of weapons slots is reduced. Special status: quick reviver (Instantly revives at reborn stations. Takes priority over other staff reviving.)
- Added 5 new gadgets for unlocking special components. Reactor, Rail Gun, Missile Silo, Flos Caeruleus and EMP Wave Generator.
Balance:
- Missile launcher: missile health reduced from 2/8/20 to 2/6/12
- Breacher: missile health increased from 2/8/20 to 4/10/24
- Anti-missile gun: instant kill chance upgrades changed to 3X critical hit chance.
- Reduced enemy growth rate on Perseus Fields from 2 to 0.5
- Reduced cost for Breacher weapons from 4000 to 1500. Also reduced the cost of upgrades.
- Improved reload time of Breacher weapon from 20 to 16.
- Improved reload time of the Gamma-Ray from 30 to 25.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with characters not being able to be revived when dying inside the Medic Station.
- Fixed Quad Synergy achievement being acquired from an enemy ship fulfilling the requirements.
- Fixed a progression block when sending the station manager on a mercenary mission and subsequently defeating a mini boss.
- Fixed Machine Gun rate of fire special upgrade giving negative bonuses.
- Accuracy now displays correctly 100% when accuracy gadgets are enabled.
- Fixed behaviour bug with characters assigned to a room where they would wander outside to complete fire or repair tasks.
- Fixed an issue with character repairing while being assigned to stay at the component leading to the repair never ending.
Misc:
- Added rotation (Shortcut: R) for larger components.
- Added the ability to build an Air Lock while the station is on fire.
- Characters set to Go anywhere no longer try to find a task around the ship after reaching a destination set by the player. They will only be able to grab tasks inside the room they are in for 30 seconds. After the timer expires the normal behaviour is restored. This should avoid issues where a crew sent away from a room with no oxygen would immediately return for a task.
- Characters manually assigned to a component with either Stay in room or Go anywhere behaviour won’t be considered for a new task assignment for 30 seconds. This should make it easier to temporarily assign a crew to a component without changing their AI behaviour.
- Combat UI: added autofire toggle for control groups. On by default. Turning autofire off will hold firing while still reloading.
- Combat UI: replaced the last control group (0) with an All Weapon group. Selecting targets with this control group will assign all weapons to 1 target. Also allows group toggle autofire and auto-targeting.
- Added character work anchor for Reborn Station to allow assigning a technician to speed up the progress.
- Added settings to allow playing music while the application is minimized.
