Dark Hours Patch Notes — April 20, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hey everyone!
A new regular update just dropped for Dark Hours, and this one comes with some changes we think you'll really appreciate, from a big price rebalance to some important fixes to key item spawning that were driving a few of you crazy. Let's get into it!
💰 Global Price Rebalance
This is the big one for this update. We've heard your feedback and we've completely rebalanced the prices of all customization items across the game. Van prices are now reduced by 50%, and most other cosmetics have been reduced by approximately 33%. Happy shopping!
🔑 Key Item Spawn Fixes
We tracked down a sneaky bug that was causing key items (keys, fuses, code papers) to sometimes spawn inside lootsafes at the exact same position as other loot, making them invisible or impossible to collect. If you ever found yourself stuck on a mission with no key in sight... this could have been the cause. It's now fixed!
On top of that, we've added safeguards to make sure key items are always properly available at the start of a mission. If something goes wrong and a key item ends up missing or inaccessible, the game will now automatically respawn it to avoid softlocks.
💀 Monster Improvements
We've made a number of fixes to monster behavior this update. Several monsters received targeted fixes to address issues with catching players, invisibility, and unexpected spawns. We also fixed a general issue where monsters could get stuck when crossing doors or catching players near them, and resolved several environment objects (like rope barriers, coffee tables, and plants) that were interfering with their navigation.
We've also made a number of bug fixes and general improvements to enhance your overall experience. You can find the full list of changes in the detailed patch notes just below 🔽
