Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks Patch Notes — March 10, 2026

We've just dropped a new patch on Steam. Here's the full change list:
Join/invite through Steam
Players can now use the Steam UI to invite their friend to the match their in, or join a match their friend is already in
An option to have unrestricted team switching when creating a match
When this is enabled, players can switch teams regardless of scores, as long as there is a spot on the other team. This allows friends to more easily play on the same team
Improvements to bot behaviour, including having Squigbuggies focus on healing much more. Bots also use dash and some abilities more.
Significant gamepad input improvements
Including driving, aim assist, and adding a new trigger driving setup as an alternative to joystick driving. We've also made gamepad fully usable in Creation Mode
Fixed issue with clients sometimes not joining the new match when the host is migrated
Fixed issue with UI disappearing in certain cases
Friendly Squigbuggies now appear as a blue + on the HUD instead of a dot
Added race waypoint counter to Kustom Rally and Creation Mode
Various UI and flow improvements, as well as bug fixes
Optimizations to Ork characters
Various other small fixes/improvements
Deffkopta can no longer stun itself with its own bomb, and fixed an issue with flying speed. Also increased overall health by 5%
Trukk now has +15 health and does 5% more damage per second

DEZE ORKS IZ COMIN' TO CONSOLEZ 🎮
In case you missed it, Speed Freeks is on its way to Playstation 5 and XBOX Series X/S this spring!
As mentioned in our previous announcement, development of these versions has been going on for a long time, but they're finally coming.
This means CROSSPLAY between all three platforms, and more gits fer you'z to krump or team up wiv!
Along with that console release we'll be patching in a new WAAAGH! Path full of free items on Steam as well 🤘
Maybe you can guess the type of Orks that are comin' with it as Pit Bosses? The first three to guess correctly get a Speed Freeks Steam key to give to a friend 💥
