We just put out a patch in preparation for another one coming soon that will have proper fixes. Testing is going well already
Here's the patch notes for today's update:
Prepped networking backend for upcoming patch
Re-enabled host migration
Ping measurement and region determination should be more accurate now
Excited to see how this next patch lands as it should make playing the game a hell of a lot more enjoyable ːsteamthumbsupː

We've seen a bunch more players jump on now that the EGS version was released yesterday - which is great
What's not-so-great is that unfortunately we've also seen reports of connection issues, with host/client desync and matches ending suddenly, kicking everyone back to the menu, as well as other things
We're looking into this as top priority and hope to have some fixes ASAP
In the meantime, here's some potential workarounds Can't join a game:
Try a different one for a bit then try the previous one again if you still want to join it
Can't join any games / can't create a game:
Restart Steam. Make sure Speed Freeks isn't running still in Task Manager
If that fails, restart your PC
Crashed or kicked back to menu while hosting, or general bad performance while hosting
Make sure there's no heavy processes running in the background
If you have medium to low end PC, you perhaps shouldn't be hosting as it requires more processing power than joining a hosted game
If any of these don't work, we'll have to wait for the patch then
