Important Changes
NEW Exploration: Biomes are now larger with more complex layouts to encourage exploration and variety. Systems like enemy placement and economy have been re-tuned to support this scale.
⭐️ NEW Map which allows you to see your surroundings, know the location of important entities and objects and teleport to your teammates. Press G(keyboard) or SELECT(gamepad) to open it.
⭐️ NEW Minimap: Stay oriented with a view of your immediate surroundings and find secret hints.
NEW Volumetric clouds: We've replaced the flat sea of clouds under the levels for better immersion This can be disabled via the "Clouds" setting in the Graphics panel.
⭐️ NEW Gift & Hex Scaling:
- Level System: Just like Gears, Gifts and Hexes now have stronger leveled versions found during Expeditions.
- Amplifiers: A new utility item that lets you boost the level of your existing Gifts/Hexes on the fly.
- With those you can now scale your build's power further than ever before.NEW Item Rarity:
- Items now feature a scaling rarity system: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Mythic. Each tier provides significantly increased stats.
- Frend's Loyalty Program: New reward added! Progress through the program to unlock a new Altar in the Ark.
- Cogs for Quality: Deposit Cogs into the Altar to increase the probability of high-tier item drops.
- Completion Bonus: Maxing out the Altar unlocks a Unique Skin Variant.NEW Enemy Variants:
- Face new challenges in Cloudy and higher difficulty modes across Golem Gardens, Factory, Fungal Swamp, and Rat Village.
- This includes a new Golem Gardens Boss exclusive to these higher difficulties!NEW Islands & Caverns: Expanded discovery awaits in the Lost Archipelago.
Alterattack Tutorials Reworked: We've overhauled the training grounds. Entry gates are now blocked by Forcefields; the color of the field tells you which level of Alterattack is required to break through.
Onboarding Narrative: Updated dialogue for the Little Girl in the early game, along with a brand-new character model.
The Inventory is now merged into the Main Menu.
QoL
NEW Quick Gear Swap & Drop: You can now swap (by pressing) or drop (by holding) your gear:
- Weapons with 5(keyboard) / D-PAD LEFT(controller)
- and Trinkets with 6(keyboard) / D-PAD DOWN(controller)⭐️ NEW Mouse Cursor Option: You can now change the cursor size in the Accessibility panel of the Options menu.
⭐️ NEW Accessibility Options:
- Transparency of Size+ weapons
- Chromatic aberration intensity
- Player silouhette behind objects toggle

⭐️ Single player / UI: Codex and Codex pages menu now pauses the game in solo mode.
Co-op: Teleport to team: default binding changed to CTRL(keyboard) and SELECT(controller).
Co-op: Voice Chat:
- Voice Chat is using the "Push-to-talk" mode by default (not applied on previous saves)
- "Mute when Joining" and "Push-to-talk" default bindings changed to 4(keyboard) and RIGHT STICK PRESSED(controller).
Balancing
Pulsor:
- Default Pulsor is now way faster when held
- Banger Pulsor is now faster when held and its dashes' length are increased when out of combat
⭐️ Difficulty Balance Pass: First pass focused on the new Rarity system. More incoming!
- Cloudy: Enemy Health: +40%(was +25%) | Cogs: +25%(was +15%)
- Stormy: Enemy Health: +80%(was +75%) | Cogs: +50%(was +30%) | Item Bonus Level Removed

Memory Link: When you die in front of a boss, we'll ensure that the Memory Link will be placed in a boss room during your next Expedition.
⭐️ Gifts: Full Blast: Added a 50% Blast damage bonus.
⭐️ Hexes: The increased dash cooldown negative effect is now only applied in combat.
⭐️ Payment Gates: You can now pay their fee by spending Cogs you previously banked.
Biome Reward: Magifish will be only proposed when all players have already unlocked one and none of them has one equipped.
⭐️ Cuprik's Iron Ore is now dropped by an advanced 'Worker Nailgun'.
Bugfixes
Weapons: Telepike: Fixed held attack being locked for too long after the teleportation
⭐️ Gifts: Scythe: Fixed an interaction between the Merge scythe and Bonus scythe duration gifts causing to have irregular scythe durations
⭐️ Hexes: Fixed loosing Gifts in extra slots granted by an Hex when updating the game
⭐️ Enemies: Fixed enemies being able to keep their I-frames while being frozen
⭐️ Killstreak Trial Chest: Fixed cases where the amount of kills would be higher than the number of enemies in the biome
Secrets: Fixed having some certain islands layout never having secrets generated
⭐️ Payment Gate: Fixed having some payement gates displaying a 0 shells cost and not be interactable
⭐️ LD:
- Fixed safe zone exploit in front of the Lost Archipelago Boss
- Fixed enemies not being able to dash on some small islands
- Fixed unreachable floating chest in one of the Lost Archipelago islands
- Fixed some situations where flying elements would prevent you from seeing what you are doing

- Fixed boss kills failing to reopen room gates
- Fixed a softlock where arenas wouldn't open because our loot algorithm thought a mob on a neighboring island was part of your fight—turns out, "close enough" wasn't smart enough.⭐️ Crashes:

- Fixed rare crash that occured when spending shells while your computer had a nervous breakdown.⭐️ Visuals:

Optimization
Upgraded game and rendering engines to the latest versions to improve stability and performance
Optimized shadows:
- "High quality" is optimized, so more configurations should be able to use this setting.
- "Medium quality" is downgraded, so one can have shadows at a lower cost.
