Vaccine19 Patch Notes — March 2, 2021

First of all before I forget, I zazzed up the laser shots a bit...they glow and have a slight motion trail effect.
Also, I added a nice barrel smoke VFX that I learned how to make from fluid simulations! It is a subtle touch, but the cool thing was learning to make it for future FX! Smoke shows at end of the muzzle when exiting out of Stimulus Mode.
I also experimented with recoil after the Stimulus mode shots...made it less fun 😟 so removed it and shelved the code for now.
GFX QUALITY SETTINGS


Check out that FPS increase! (FPS counter as an option also implemented!)
So, after the changes from v0.3, I was consistently losing from FPS drop because there was so much stuff on screen at once. Lowering Graphics Quality settings frees up the machismo your computer has...if needed.
Lower settings helps the FPS situation in the late-game of a Vaccine19 run or if you are playing on a potato comp.....or anything but the newest phones (when this is out on mobile 😉 )

- OPTIONS ➡ QUALITY ➡ Adjust Graphics Quality. Modifies lighting, transparency/translucency and non-essential VFX.
- OPTIONS ➡ FPS COUNTER
VFX:
- GUN ➡ BARREL SMOKE ➡ Smoke briefly comes from barrel after Stimulus Mode.
- GUN ➡ SHOTS ➡ Normal shots now glow and have a slight motion trail effect.
