Vaccine19 Patch Notes — February 26, 2021

Been working on this update for the past couple weeks, and I like where it is at enough to share with you all!
Leaderboards have been reset since gameplay changes are so significant. RIP autoclicker scores :D
PENTRATING SHOTS

The VFX laser beams have been replaced by laser 'projectiles', which look cooler imo. The penetrator laser is automatically used when in Stimulus mode. It has a decent shot-delay to counter the large hitbox. It feels powerful and fun to shoot it!

So the gameplay hook now is:
- Shoot and Don't Miss! ➡ Rack up cash spawns
- When overwhelmed, trigger Stimulus mode
- Use new penetrating shots to clear board, making sure not to miss!
- More cash will spawn
- Use barrel to clear board for easy cash shots
- Balls provide temporary protection

This new weapon changes the gameplay quite a bit, where I consistently can keep playing till the game's FPS drops down to unplayable from all the physics and AI simulation on screen. That means that I still need to tweak the gameplay so that lag is not the cause of death :P

...I think the solution will probably be less infected, but maybe more than one hit to take them down? Maybe headshots will take them down in 1 shot?
MUSIC!
I picked a chill track with a bit of spooky melody. I like it so far. The pitch of the music is lowered slightly when in Stimulus mode, which adds to the slomo effect.

GAMEPLAY:
- MUSIC ➡ Added looping spooky track
- STIMULUS MODE ➡ Penetrating projectiles now shot when in Stimulus mode. Will hit all Infected and balls in it's path.
UI:
- VERSION INFO ➡ Username and version watermark at top corner of screen.
- TUTORIAL ➡ Small looping gif showing gameplay hook.
- OPTIONS ➡ Adjust music volume.
