Master Bladesmith Patch Notes — October 29, 2020

The game has reached a point where it really needed to have a concentrated effort on reducing some of the Issues and bugs. Therefore this is a smaller update which addresses some of the long standing bugs. It's important to keep the game as playable as possible to the highest reasonable quality while in early access. The biggest change that players may notice are some visual fixes to the lathe and cooling pond.
Major updates for the game are continuing to be developed simultaneously to bug updates including the new Mining and Boss systems!


Full List of bugs/Issue fixes:
Crafting:
-Steam particles will now draw in the more realistic place ( over the hottest item in the cooling pond )
-The cooling pond will now continue to cool objects when you walk away without sacrificing optimization.
-You can no longer piece together a blade if your ~crafting~ skill is < than possible
-Chance of crafting skill up has been slightly increased
-Chances of pristine weapons has been very slightly reduced.
-Over rotations fixed on weapon builds
-Iron symbol now shows correctly on falchion blade
Lathe:
-Lathe clamp moves to correct place on larger wood drop now
-Lathe belt moves correctly now
-Can no longer drop multiple lathe blades onto the lathe
-Arrow wood lathe blade with now animate correctly next to the block of wood
-Book placement on anvil stand fix
-Failed ingot will no longer flip faces on left hand grab
Shop:
-Walking out of shop with a purchased string will no longer disappear
-Price fixes, including:
-Gem prices
-Armor prices
-Weapon queue prices
-Rare money duping exploit fix
-Coins can no longer transform into tiny coin when attached to the scoop
-Hand floating in space is no longer possible
-No longer can you grab coins out of your hand with the scoop causing transform errors attaching to the scoop
-No longer can you retain items from the shop if you teleport to the mine from the shop.
-Coin stacks losing interaction in certain cases now fixed
Mining:
-Chests will now be saved if unopened before save and restart
-Chest queue removal as it is useless to the game in its current state
-The mine details will now show a much more accurate kg of ore processed.
-Ore processed value is now saved
Battle:
-Sliced targets will ALWAYS disarm now
Textures:
-Book textures leaking into other books fixed
-Exp text leaking into other exp scrolls fixed
-Exp scroll texture memory has been reduced significantly
-Gems changing materials fix
-Various Texture optimizations
Code:
-Eliminated source of rare game crash related to objects grippable meshes
-Optimized internal string hash lookup
