Hotfix 0.2.9.1 is Live On PTS

The Bad Pixel team here. We need your assistance with testing the upcoming that includes fixes and optimization changes aimed at better server performance.

You are to be deployed to the Public Test Server on May 11th at 04:00pm GMT/0 09:00am PDT to reach peak online numbers. You are to have dog tags, cash and firearms on you. All this is included in the starter kit.

• Buy weapon mods from traders, install on weapons and put them into a safe zone storage;
  
• Attempt multiple fast travels between the safe zones using the draisine;
  
• Enter/exit the safe zones;
  
• PvP fights are allowed.
  

Public Test Server is available to all players who own the game. By uploading an update to that server, we let the community publicly test it before releasing it.

How to connect to the Public Test Server (PTS):

• Right-click
  Deadside
  in your Steam library; click on
  Properties
  …;
  
• Choose
  BETAS
  , then select the “
  public_test_server - PTS
  ” branch from the drop-down menu;
  
• Wait for an update to download and launch the game;
  
• Connect to one of the available official PTS servers depending on your location.
  

How to switch back to the live version of the game:

• Right-click
  Deadside
  in your Steam library, then click on
  Properties
  …;
  
• Choose
  BETAS
  , then select the “
  None
  ” branch from the drop-down menu;
  
• Wait for an update to download and launch the game;
  
• Connect to one of the available official live servers depending on your location.
