YoloMouse - Cursor Changer Patch Notes — May 13, 2026

The major update here are VFX trails which took a good bit of effort to get the desired quality. You can find these under effects. Kudos to Frogski, the Plasma trail is inspired by his WoW mod 🍻
Otherwise added a formal multi-color version of that store page pointer cursor, and a language selector on the main menu. The rest is polish and some key fixes like Riot game support.
For next update, after many asks and MS being MS 😉, Linux Proton support will be a priority.
UPDATES
- NEW: Trail effects! Flame, Plasma, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter included.
- NEW: Pointer cursor (seen in Steam page).
- NEW: Add language selection button to main menu (same behavior as taskbar one).
- BUFF: Windows cursor scaling setting now only applies to app:Windows cursors and not games/apps. This solves unwanted huge cursors and quality issues.
- BUFF: Generate a nicer preview when importing cursors from an existing game/app.
- BUFF: Add option to reset hidden cursors in Settings > Reset.
- BUFF: Improve glow for blurry and translucent cursors.
- BUFF: Improve injection reliability and freezing issue with some games.
- FIX: Self shutdown instead of crashing when interrupted by a GPU reset or driver update.
- FIX: Color picker closing too easily and a related crash when changing Glow color.
- FIX: Case where presets with missing or unpublished cursors could still be published.
- FIX: Fix scrolling for devices like Thinkpad scroll knob.
- FIX: Cursor disappearing when original settings are re-applied.
- FIX: Translucent cursors apppearing darker than they should when resized.
- FIX: Original game cursor sometimes showing in anticheat protected games.
- FIX: Support for all Riot games.
- FIX: Original cursor disappearing in some games when only using an effect.
