Nemesis #7 - Showcase Update
WARNO Patch Notes — May 21, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello all,
We break our regular WARNO - Tropic Storm DevBlog schedule with a small Nemesis #7 - State of Emergency interlude.
Let’s have a look at a showcase of the next upcoming mini-DLC for WARNO (which should be right around the corner).
Onwards!
Nemesis #7 - State of Emergency
Nemesis #7 - State of Emergency is one of our “chosen” DLC options, pre-selected to speed up development. With the theme being defensive battlegroups tasked with protecting the state’s vital infrastructure and “rule of law”, we have already previewed Nemesis #7 - State of Emergency’s two battlegroups:
- The NATO battlegroup is the French Zone de Défense - Paris, filled with military police and several exotic units, tasked with defending the City of Light.
- The Soviet offering is the DON-100 battlegroup, an internal security division active on the southern frontier of the USSR.
In Nemesis #7 - State of Emergency you get to lead an arsenal of new units to battle, from GARDES RÉPUBLICAINS, BROUSSARD MH-1521 recon planes, GIGN operators, and the MSC prototype, to MVD security infantry, OMON troops, first-generation Mi-24A gunships, and advanced MiG-29S fighters.
A host of new art
Nemesis #7 - State of Emergency is in the final stretch of development. All models and unit pictures have been done, with the team working on giving the DLC a finishing touch. See below, for instance, for the key art.

And what’s more, all models are finished and fully textured.

Also, since we first described the DON-100, we have changed the PT-76B MVD’s stats and model to better represent the extra ad-hoc armor added by the security division historically.

The ever-awesome WARNO Strike Team has been busy testing the Nemesis DLC for a while now. It is almost ready, with a full release coming in the near future (but no exact date yet - you know the drill!).

A major new game feature we have been testing with this DLC are anti-tank rifle grenades for security infantry units normally deprived of squad AT weapons. While Warsaw Pact troops could rely on endless stocks of older or lesser quality anti-tank weapons, such as the RPG-2, RPG-75, or Komar, many NATO armies did not. We’ve been playtesting anti-tank rifle grenades, and as such expect a few existing units to gain access to them when the Nemesis DLC launches. Specifically the French AC-58 (for FAMAS) and STRIM-65 (for MAS-49/56), plus the Belgian Energa and Super Energa (for FAL and G3). With short range and low accuracy, they won’t be a great counter to an armored enemy unit, but at least they won’t be entirely useless either.

WARNO - Tropic Storm
We are also working on the next big-ticket expansion, WARNO - Tropic Storm. This DLC will give you access to 6 new divisions from this brand-new theater of operations, including 4 new nations, and a host of new units, models, weapons, new terrain sets, and maps, and more. And equally important: it will contain 1 new Army General campaign. More details will come in the coming weeks.
Check out all the previews for WARNO - Tropic Storm divisions below:
- First up is the Western-aligned U.S. 4th Marine Division earmarked for the Cuban invasion. Check out all the details in this preview here.
- The Communist-aligned Cuban 1a División de Tanques gets its place in the tropical sun in this detailed preview.
