GamePatchNote Digest
Warbox Patch Notes — July 6, 2024
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
It's been a while. I've had quite a few events that have hindered me being able to work on this game. From a small motorcycle accident to catching covid it has been a really long time since any updates have hit Steam. The game is not dead but progress is slow.
INCOMMING UPDATE SNEAK PEAK
VEHICLES
I've made more progress on the vehicle system, this is pretty insignificant of a change, but everything takes time, and the finished system will be worth the wait.
QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS
New improvements to the overall quality and presentation of the menu UI and display. This has mostly been a side product of me practicing animations. Eventually there will be animations for each weapon which will improve the overall quality and look of the customization screen.
GAMEPLAY WORK IN PROGRESS
Some of you may recognize the way these icons look. Anyways, I've been improving on my C++ skills recently and have been working on a new customizable feature for custom soldiers that Players will be edit and share with each other, it will be the most early form of "Modding" for Warbox. More on this soon.

FINAL NOTES
In other parts not shown here I've been working on AI behaviours for when they drop their weapons. This has been a major issue with the current AI. Getting knocked down dropping your weapon and slowly jogging toward the enemy is not how someone in combat should react. Expect to see this solved with 0.0.4.6.
With all that out of the way, I'm planning the release of 0.0.4.6 no later than the end of this month.
See you soon,
Mantaliss.
