### 🌍 New Languages
The game is now available in four new languages — just head to Settings to switch at any time, no restart needed.
- Dutch

Everything is translated — menus, item descriptions, documents, dialogue and all on-screen prompts.

### 🎭 Characters Look Better
All character models have been given a visual refresh. Skin and clothing look more realistic under different lighting conditions, and animations between actions — walking, aiming, attacking — blend together much more naturally with no jarring jumps.

### 🕯️ Lighting Overhaul
Every area of the mansion has been relit. Shadows are deeper and sharper, and light sources like candles, lamps and windows actually cast warm, believable colour onto nearby walls and surfaces. Fog has been adjusted room by room to make each area feel distinct without making it hard to see what you're doing.

### 🔫 Shooting Feels and Looks Better
- The laser sight beam is sharper and stays locked on the nearest enemy properly — it no longer briefly jumps to the wrong target
- Bullet trails look smoother and are easier to follow in both bright and dark rooms
- Bullet holes now appear right where your shots land, flush against the surface, at all angles
- The game runs noticeably smoother during heavy gunfire — you should see far fewer hitches when things get intense

### 🗺️ Nearby Item and Door Hints
The small arrows that appear when you get close to an item or a door are much improved. They fade in gently rather than popping up suddenly, and they point to the right thing more accurately when several items are close together. The game also runs better in item-heavy rooms as a result.

### 🕹️ Movement and Controls
- Walking and running feel smoother — your character builds up speed and slows down naturally rather than starting and stopping instantly
- Fixed a bug where raising or lowering your weapon could get stuck if done in quick succession

### 🖥️ Menus and UI
- All menus, panels and overlays open and close with smooth, polished animations
- The black bars that appear during cutscenes slide in and out cleanly, even when the game pauses or slows down
- The "press to interact" prompt no longer flickers when you walk past something you can interact with — it waits a beat before appearing

### 🎬 Title Screen
- The opening fade now looks smooth and consistent regardless of your frame rate
- Fixed a bug where the title screen could vanish before the fade finished
- Fixed a bug where clicking the button on the title screen did nothing

### 💾 Save and Load
- Your camera angle is now saved correctly — the game no longer jumps to the wrong viewpoint when you load a save file
---
### 📦 Item Pickups
- Fixed some items being impossible to pick up because their invisible grab area was too small
---
### 🐛 Other Bug Fixes
- Fixed the title screen occasionally disappearing mid-fade
- Fixed a rare issue where aiming could get stuck after switching weapons quickly
