This first release of the year for Substance Painter brings long awaited features like the ability to mask and hide specific geometry, copy, pasting, drag and dropping of effects between layers and even between texture sets, UDIM workflow improvements, new stitching tools and more!
Added:
- New geometry mask and paint selected parts of the geometry
- Allow to paint selected parts of geometry by mesh names
- Rectangular selection in both viewports
- Allow to hide/ignore excluded geometry on any layer
- Quick selection for checkboxes with click and drag
- Include/Exclude all with a dropdown in Properties window
- Allow to quickly select one item in a list with ALT+LEFT CLICK
- Overlay in viewports when hovering Mesh names/UV Tiles in Properties window
- Add Copy/Paste options to the geometry mask
- New icon for Hide/ignore excluded geometry button
- New tooltip for Hide/ignore excluded geometry
- Keyboard shortcut ALT+H to toggle on/off "hide ignore excluded geometry" button

Fixed:

- "Match by mesh name" ignores parts of the object
- Clicking on a layer effect opens folder
