Squeaky Clean Patch Notes — October 17, 2022
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello, DevDre here, lead developer of Carrion Wave.
Squeaky Clean released over a year ago as our first title. At the time it was just me and since then the team has slowly grown and we are hard at work on our next title.
I wanted to officially announce our departure from the horror genre for the foreseeable future, and while I do have an interest in creating scary scenes and situations, my true passion is in RPG's and story-telling.
This announcement comes from a worry that I don't think our upcoming title(s) will be of interest to horror fans, so I want to officially state that our first game is now archived, and free for all to play as a piece of our history!
Thank you so much for those who played the game, and my support group and streamers for all their suggestions and feedback during development. It was a a great learning opportunity from development to release. I've worked on many games over my life, but I've never finished one, so regardless of its success (or lack there of) this was a milestone.
For now, we are working together with a growing Twitter artist to create a 2.5D colorful and fun RPG, and I'm confident it falls into my skillset far more-so than Squeaky Clean and I'm very excited for the future.
Expect a week or so before the price changes to free, but if anyone was on the fence on checking it out, then maybe now is a good time for a shower!
Thank you again,
DevDre
