Spaceship Commander Patch Notes — December 15, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
The first spacecraft to successfully land on the surface of Venus is 55 years old! ⭐

The Venera-7 station is a real breakthrough in space exploration. After working for 20 minutes on the surface of the most ferocious🔥 and deadly☣ planet in the Solar System, the device transmitted valuable data on the temperature of the atmosphere and surface, as well as pressure data.
The body of the device was made of titanium📏, replacing the aluminum alloy of earlier versions of the Venus series devices. This allowed him to stay so long at a temperature of 450°C and a pressure of 100 atmospheres! Plus, an interesting ❄cooling scheme was applied - before entering the atmosphere, the lander was deeply cooled to -8°C using an external refrigeration unit. The device itself did not have its own "refrigerator" — its role was performed by the large heat capacity of the all pre-frozen titanium structure. Like a huge thermal accumulator, it slowly "absorbed" the Venus heat, which allowed the electronics to work for additional precious minutes after landing.
By the way, someday I will add a small base to the game on the planet Venus, there is evidence that it is a little "cooler" at mountain heights, and atmospheric pressure here is not so much "pressing".
