Sniper Elite: Resistance Patch Notes — July 8, 2025

Patch 1.31 is live snipers. The update includes a number of fixes which include improving the flow of the Kill List objective so Arno Lembke can be still killed if enemies are alerted before the letter is posted and in The Gallant Few resolved some issues where enemies would fail to spawn in.

General
Fixed an issue where controller inputs on PC occasionally displayed the wrong icons
Resolved an issue where, under specific conditions, players could get into a state where they could not collect standard ammunition
Fixed an issue where aiming directly up could cause the player’s character to bend unnaturally
Resolved an issue where some facial animations briefly displayed incorrectly when crouched behind cover
Reduced cases in Authentic mode where a white targeting box would appear around an enemy when scoped
Fixed a case where, in certain circumstances, the Epilogue mission would not unlock after completing all other base campaign missions
Corrected the unlock requirement for the last item slot in Campaign and Survival loadouts
Improved the readability of the DLC labels in Russian
Improved how the Resistance Fighter headgear fits on some characters
Fixed an issue with the Razer Peripherals so that the keyboard lights are correct on the main menu
Weapon Specific Fixes
General Weapon fixes
Fixed the .24 Shot special ammo’s stats displaying incorrectly in the loadout
.303 MK1 – Fixed a bug where the kill feed would mention an incorrect weapon name for kills with this weapon
Armaguerra OG-44 – Fixed tag for the Engraving skin in the loadout menu
Auto-5 – Fixed the Golden Hex skin displaying incorrectly on the top of the weapon
Gewehr 43 – Fixed an issue where the Overpressure Magazine & MG13 Trench Magazine would visually persist after reloading
Hi-Power 9mm – Improved the appearance of several skins on the weapon and fixed incorrect attachment unlock display message for the Hi-Power Compensator muzzle
M1912 – Fixed an issues where the ammo clip would visually persist after reloading and switching weapons
M1918 BAR – Fixed an issue where the Brushstroke Camo cosmetic would not cover all parts of the weapon
M1941 – Fixed description for Calibre Conversion magazine
M1A1 Gov. – Improved the appearance of several skins on the weapon
MAB Model D – Fixed the Golden Hex skin displaying incorrectly on the end of the weapon barrel
Machine Pist.40 – Fixed the Golden Hex skin covering unintended surfaces
Machine Pist.44 – Improved the appearance of several skins on the weapon
MAS 36 – Fixed the Reinforced Band foregrip overlapping with cosmetic wraps
Model1907 – Improved the appearance of several skins on the weapon
SIG MKMS – Improved the appearance of several skins on the weapon
Stengun MK2 – Improved the appearance of several skins on the weapon
SVT-40 – The correct attachment unlock message now appears for the Performance Tuned barrel
Thompson – Fixed an issue where skins did not display in iron sights aim
Trench Gun – Fixed the Golden Hex skin displaying incorrectly when in iron sights aim
Welrod – Fixed the Golden Hex skin displaying incorrectly when in iron sights aim
Campaign Mission Fixes
Behind Enemy Lines
Fixed issues where the objective location was occasionally displayed incorrectly
Fixed cases where soldiers were incorrectly labelled as Gestapo in the binoculars
Improved cases where the player wouldn’t grab the edge on the metal platform near the Supply Depot
Fixed cases where sound masking was present but no audio was playing
Dead Drop
Fixed various asset clipping, texture and lighting issues, and ladder animations
Fixed some objective markers areas not disappearing part way through completion
Sonderzuge Sabotage
All walls in the green shed near the river are now solid
Fixed an issue where the player could not fully climb a ladder on the archway at the end of the mission
Adjusted hotel garden patrols to fix issues caused when raising the alarm
Collision Course
Improved the location marker for the “Find and eliminate intel sources” objective
Resolved an issue where one of the Stone Eagles was not always visible from all intended locations
Fixed the description of the kill list target when they are viewed by an invader
Fixed issues with the player camera when using certain ladders in confined areas
Devil’s Cauldron
Improved crouch walking on the metal stairs at the entrance to the Kleine Blume area
Fixed issues with the player camera when using certain ladders in confined areas
Assault on Fort Rouge
Fixed various asset clipping, texture and lighting issues, and ladder animations
Removed an invisible wall on upper walkways inside the town
Fixed some objective markers not disappearing part way through completion
Players are no longer able to roll under the gates in the bunker
Fixed an issue where players would get stuck part way up the stairs near the transponder location
Fixed issues with the player camera when using certain ladders in confined areas
Lock, Stock and Barrels
Improved visibility in some areas when and aiming down sights over a railing
The truck parked in the V1 Site area can now be destroyed as intended
Improved cases where bullets we blocked on some objects behind the V1 launch ramp
Search area circles now appear as intended throughout the mission
End of the Line
Fixed an issue where enemy AI soldiers could have issues traversing through the Blockhaus door when it was open and around it when it was closed
Fixed an issue where the player would appear half crouched when walking through a specific tunnel
Fixed an issue stopping players from completely climbing a ladder to a watch tower
Improved camera angles when players use certain ladders
Resolved an issue where under certain conditions the player’s character would not appear in the Loadout screen
DLC: Lights, Camera, Achtung!
Fixed various asset clipping and texture issues
Fixed an issue where an enemy soldier was getting stuck on their patrol route
Removed access to an unintended area where players could get stuck
Fixed an issue where the objective could display incorrect text during the exfiltrate part of the objective
DLC: Vercors Vendetta
Improved the resolution of the Propaganda poster collectable when players are close to it and repositioned it slightly so it’s not clipping into the wall
DLC: Striking Range
Fixed an issue where enemy soldiers would be stuck under some stairs near the kill list target
Fixed an issue where an enemy soldier would fire a flare gun under some camouflage netting.
DLC: Mud and Thunder
Fixed various floating objects, asset clipping, texture issues and lighting issues
Improved camera angles when players climb certain ladders and vines
Improved the flow of the Kill List objective so Arno Lembke can be still killed if enemies are alerted before the letter is posted
Resolved an issue where, under certain conditions, the incorrect ammo would appear in a crate in the Underground Facility
Fixed an issue where Arno Lembke could appear reluctant to move after the letter was given to him
The poster in the Gestapo house is now the correct way around
The Propaganda pop up now appears correctly alongside the Service Record update after collecting the Propaganda poster
The fuel line to the rocket is now connected correctly
Smoke now appears in all circumstances after completing V2 objective
Fixed various translation and text display issues
Fixed an issue causing some objective markers to not disappear after unselecting them
Fixed an issue where certain enemies would automatically enter the investigation state shortly after starting the mission
The destruction after completing the V2 objective now always triggers correctly
Fixed some cases of enemy soldiers AI getting stuck near the V2 launch site
Improved image resolution for intro and outro videos
Fixed an issue where a co-op player could spawn out of bounds
Fixed enemy soldier patrol routes in some cases near the kill list target
Fixed an issue where autosave could not trigger after completing the V2 Rockets objective
Fixed the Destroy Resistance Documents objective not appearing when opening the locked door in certain ways
Fixed and issue with the V2 Rocket when manual saving during the launch sequence
Multiple issues fixed for co-op play when interacting with multiple rocket objectives at the same time
Propaganda Specific Bug Fixes
General
Fixed an audio issue with the user interface
Prendre Le Maquis
Fixed a truck that was floating above the ground
Résistance, Révolution, Vengeance
Fixed a case where a truck would spawn incorrectly if the player went from the campaign level to the Propaganda version of the map
Added the ability to vault over a few low walls that were missing the prompt
Multiplayer Level Specific Bug Fixes
General
Made the instructions for unlocking the sixth item slot clearer
Fixed some cases where unlock notification pop-ups would appear twice
Deathmatch Chateau Grounds
Removed an invisible wall on a balcony overlooking the main courtyard that was blocking grenade throws
Blocked players from sprinting off one of the balconies to prevent them falling and taking damage
Sniper Elite 5’s Deathmatch Landing Zone
Fixed a case where players could get stuck if they walked on top of a fallen tree
Sniper Elite 5’s No Cross Trident Beachhead
Fixed a case where players could go prone under one of the large ships to pass inside it and have an unfair advantage
Fixed a case where going prone between some metal barriers could cause the player character to fall out of the game world
Blocked players from walking up a wall that allowed them to bypass the no-cross barrier
Fixed an issue where some metal fences did not display properly
Sniper Elite 5’s Alpine Resort
Fixed a case where some white paint would not display properly from certain distances and angles
No Cross Fortress
Fixed a couple of cases where parts of the environment were incorrectly lit
No Cross River Front
Fixed some cases where players could enter unintended parts of the map and gain an advantage
Resolved a case where going prone between some crates and a metal barrier could cause players to fall out of the game world
Resolved a case where going prone under some scaffolding could cause players to fall out of the game world
Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in a falling animation near a barrel on one of the bridges
Survival Specific Bug Fixes
Survival Fortress Command
Fixed an issue where players could not pass next to a bench near command post C
Fixed an issue where players could fail to grab a ledge and fall into an intended inaccessible area and get stuck
Survival Mark of the Eagle
Moved the medkit spawn location to inside the supply crate for consistency
Survival Tide of War
Fixed some railings to allow the player to now vault over
Fixed a case where the enemy soldiers could shoot through a wall
Survival The Gallant Few
Resolved some issues where enemies would fail to spawn in
Adjusted some elements near the edge of the playable space to make it visually clear why the player cannot travel down to the riverbed area
Moved a sniper spawn location closer to the player so they can be more effective
Improved how enemies approach the player after the command post changes
Fixed an issue where a sniper could fall out of the map when sustaining non-lethal damage
Resolved some issues where enemies would fail to approach the target command post
Fixed an issue where an enemy bike could get stuck outside the playable space
Fixed an issue where enemies could fail to detect players if they were positioned on a wooden bridge
Resolved issues where enemies could get stuck when approaching players
Fixed an issue where players could get stuck between a truck and some sandbags
