Shipwrecked 64 Patch Notes — March 23, 2023
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello Children of the Cogs!

This is the lead dev of the Shipwrecked 64 recovery project, Squeaks D'Corgeh! It's very nice to have seen so much enthusiasm towards the game so far!
I know that we've been pretty silent on the Steam side of things, but it's not for no reason! The team's had our noses down and working very hard trying to get the game from a mess of jumbled code to a fully playable experience once again, and even enhancing some things, like, if it weren't for us modifying the game, you would still be stuck using an automatic camera and pressing a button to snap it back into place, very unfortunate, ain't it. Don't worry, for those of you who want the full original experience, we will be leaving that in the game as an option, as well as instructions on how to hook up that old dusty controller of yours!
Now, the game itself has actually been growing a lot in size as we discover more files. There's already multiple endings, a lot of secrets you'll have to really look to find, and even some investigative work. Rest assured, when you play this game, you can play it normally if you wish, but you can also put on your detective hat, and help us decipher this game and it's meaning!
I've actually gotten some people from my circles to test this game a few times, as I'm curious to their player experiences. I've seen headphones thrown, people genuinely reporting feeling scared to a point of feeling queasy, and I've heard many screams, whether they're screaming profanities, or yelling about how cool something is, everyone seems to be engaging with the game so far and it really has put a smile on my face to finally introduce Cogware's flagship game to the world.
My personal favorite part of the game has been the puzzle-like nature of the game, and I'm not just talking about the levels. Testers are finding new things all the time, and it's very fun to see them using the tools laid out in front of them to explore. I'm hoping to share that same feeling to all of you in due time!
That's all for now, folks, thanks for reading my update! Toodle-oo!
