Multiplayer and Level Editor Update
Sandbox Anything Patch Notes — October 30, 2019
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Sandbox Anything has come a long way from its origin. Where initially it was only a small single-player game, it is now focused on customization and creativity with the ability to create your own maps within the new Level Editor. From there, you can share it in the workshop with other players, so they can play the maps you've made! On top of that, Multiplayer is functionality is nearly ready, just fixing little UI bugs to have a nice release version!
LEVEL EDITOR
Includes:
- Precise editing of objects
- All in-game objects at the player's disposal
- Mass editing of objects
- Playtesting - to see if your map is playable
- Save/Load of your creations
- Sharing of creations through the workshop
MULTIPLAYER
Includes:
- Lobby system to join others
- Select from locally created maps or those subscribed to the workshop
- Player dragger distinction
- Working In-game chat system
- Kick feature for unwanted guests
This was just a general update on just some of the background work we have been accomplishing. Thanks for taking the time in reading, we are excited to publish this game to see what creations others will make! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to launch, and don't forget to follow Sandbox Anything to get updates like these!
P.S. A comprehensive trailer will hopefully be created shortly to show what the gameplay would look like! Stay tuned!
