RideOp - VR Thrill Ride Experience Patch Notes — March 29, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hi everyone!
In an effort to optimize the game we've changed a few things that we want you to know about:
- Some models of the rides have been changed to the new ones we are using on our main game. This reduces geometry and helps boost performance.
- Materials and textures on several surfaces have been updated to fit the new models and improve the realism of the game.
- The VR controllers specific to each headset are no longer supported. We've added a new keyboard/ Xbox controller input scheme that provides a smoother and easier to use experience.
- New menu interface with a look-and-press control system, replacing the old grabbing system.
- New in-game menu that can be hidden instead of being always attached to the controllers.
We hope that these changes help to create a better experience for everyone.
Best regards,
GuraShop
