Hey rebels,
Thanks for an amazing launch week for Reignbreaker! We are hard at work building & testing the first patch for the main game, but in the meantime we decided to push a small update to our demo, which will remain available for the forseeable future. We made a huge number of improvements & bug fixes between the release of the demo and the release of the main game, so we wanted to give the demo a little love to make sure it runs as smoothly as the actual game.
Please note that the majority of these bugs were already fixed before we we released the complete game! We do plan to release the patch for the full game in the second week of April, so stay tuned!

[h2General Fixes & Improvements
- 🤘 General performance improvements to address game stuttering issues
- 🤘 Dialogue no longer auto-progresses by default
- 🤘 Save files now properly display the number of raid attempts
- Enemies will no longer spawn behind large obstacles
- Improved the lighting effect of the security cameras
- Fixed issue where lockdowns would sometimes require two interactions with the Lock to start
- Evangeline will no longer appear as "anonymous" in certain dialogues
- Fixed sometimes skipping Evangeline's dialogue when returning to lobby
- Fixed the flickering lights in certain rooms
- Prevented save icon & loading text from disappearing during loading screens
- Fixed bug that prevented acid Spreadballs from being killable
- Fixed Vault Item rarities sometimes displaying the wrong color
- Various small improvements in lighting, set dressing, & Z-fighting in levels
- Increased hitbox of enemy spawning damage to match visuals
- Fixed rare bug in which a player could be locked in a room after failing a time challenge
- Preservation item now always displays correct healing amount
- Hellgrunts no longer get confused and walk in place when the player stands in a corner
- Clef no longer loses health when player uses the healing station while they have scratch damage
- Fixed incorrectly displayed stats on Spin Blades Vault Item
- Exiting game after arriving late to the Javelin unlock station no longer resets the clock
- Upgrading "Uncommon" Vault Items now always display correct stat values
- Prevented damage numbers from displaying incorrect colors
- Spikeballs can no longer exit the lockdown area if the player is standing close to the boundary
- Execution icon no longer clips into enemies or the player
- Tea Leaves item now properly heals player
- Reloading a room after saving & quitting no longer changes what Vaults are available
- Tagged Territory paint puddles no longer cast large shadows
- Equipping both Blood for Blood and Lancer Boots no longer makes player invincible to ranged attacks even when not aiming
- Slam attacks now properly land critical hits
- Flamethrower turrets now properly display their shadows when spawning
- Prevented rare issue that caused the game to freeze while Saving & Quitting from camp
- Security cameras no longer move after being deactivated
- Root now properly applies to common Overseer enemies
- Fixed rare bug that caused the Overseer boss to stop attacking
- Out of Pocket now works correctly when Clef is hit by her own Blast Javelin explosions
- Reduced frequency of "Javelin overheating" shouts
- Fixed inconsistent trap behavior when an enemy dies on a spike trap
- Fixed alignment of Paint Slash VFX
- Items available in the pop-up item shops no longer change after reloading the game
- Bleed Together projectiles no longer target offscreen enemies
- Screen no longer shakes when Clef walks between the dumbbells in camp
- Acid from hellgrunts is no longer hidden by unactivated Gearboxes
- Increased size scaling of damage numbers
- Fixed issue in which character illustrations during dialogues would be partially opaque
- Made VFX for Slam attacks more consistent in different contexts
- Clef now always spawns into rooms facing the correct direction
- Fixed Railgun VFX disappearing when player opens a menu
- Added controller vibration when enemies take damage from Railgun bayonets
- Fixed controller vibration not occurring when certain enemies are hit
- Coated Crowd item now works as intended
- Clef no longer gets stuck facing in one direction after punching an enemy to death
- Removed flickering VFX from the Overseer's knife attack
- Players can no longer enter gravestone clusters
- Clef no longer occasionally has two shadows
- Dash VFX can no longer appear in loading screens
- Spin Blades can no longer be triggered too early
- Prevent enemies from spawning out of bounds during Chimera fight
- Improved Chimera animations during its shotgun mode
- Chimera can no longer be permanently stunned
- Enemies no longer walk in place briefly after exiting pause menu
UI Fixes & Improvements
- Updated UI icons in the tutorial popups
- Peashooter projectiles no longer flicker while UI is open
- Vault Item names no longer overflow their text boxes when large fonts are activated
- Long item names no longer overflow onto level up indicator in the Power Shop
- Fixed localized texts not being properly displayed in certain scenarios or when switching languages
- Fixed loading screen icons being low resolution
- Players no longer receive duplicate messages after shop items are used up
- Added an "Are you sure?" prompt when quitting the game or giving up a run in the pause menu
- Prevented issue that caused keyword details to remain visible after closing inventory
- Fixed incorrect subtitles being displayed during Clef's shouts in camp
- Run time on victory screens now properly displays the actual time
- Added heat icon to Hot & Cold upgrade
- Switching between keyboard/mouse & controller when an item is selected no longer changes the name & item description
- Item names no longer disappear when scrolling between items
- Improved scrolling behavior in the Javelin Armoury
- Fixed background issues in Controls & Settings menus
- Holding input button while selecting audio sliders no longer sets the wrong values
- Fixed instances in certain level layouts in which item pickup prompts would not appear
- Volume bar display now properly matches percentage
- Fixed Clef getting stuck facing one direction after Executions
- Player can no longer lock on to broken statues
- Prevent tutorials for specific items from overlapping
- Calm and Collected item behavior now matches description
- Swapping languages during combat now works properly
- Fixed order of Javelin details in results screen
Sound Fixes & Improvements
- Pain Point SFX can no longer be heard when volume is set to 0%
- Healing station SFX can no longer be heard when volume is set to 0%
- Railgun SFX can no longer be heard when volume is set to 0%
- Blast SFX can no longer be heard when volume is set to 0%
- Baby bellgrunt sounds can no longer be heard while in menus
- First punch of combo with Punch Rush upgrade now properly plays SFX
- Improved volume balance between dialogue in cutscenes and in levels
- Added SFX to Bridge Lock being unlocked
- All traps now properly have SFX
- Balanced the volume of SFX related to Vault Items
- Fixed music playing improperly during Chimera fight
- Chimera attack SFX now trigger correctly
- Added SFX to player death
- All explosions now have SFX
- Fist bumping the Baby Bellgrunt no longer triggers the Queen's dialogue
- Better synced treasure sounds with Vault opening
- Added SFX to resurrections
