REAVER News — September 26, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
So for a while we've been getting questions form our treasured community like "when is the next update", "when will you add x or y", etc. So here are a few reasons why there hasn't been an update in a really long time.
REAVER's code
REAVER has been in development for many years and in those years a lot of code has been written. Good and bad code. The bad side of REAVER's programming has finally caught up to us and now we're dealing with the consequences of that. Major work is in process to ensure the game's inner-workings are improved. The same goes for the actual gameplay experience. Not just fixed, but made better than ever.

New content
A while ago an additional mini-team was formed to help make new levels. Those levels have been in development for some time now. None of them are complete for now, however they will be worth the wait. Each level brings a unique style while keeping up with REAVER's already established level design.
In addition to the upcoming keyboard-breaking levels, there's more to come. New features, obstacles, a new enemy/mini-boss, and maybe even a new weapon :)

Other projects
While we are a small team, we still find time to work on other projects. Some project take more attention than others. We hope that you're as excited about these new upcoming releases as we are, even though we can't really disclose too much about what they are right now.
We still remember about REAVER and keep it on our list of priorities, but sometimes other work takes a lot of our time.

Life
Everyone on our team has their life outside of making video games. Finding a good work-life balance is tough. Sometimes we underperform, Sometimes we overwork. Sometimes everything is at a steady pace. Basically what I'm trying to say here is that we're all people, we're not perfect. We try.

What's next?
We can't provide a concrete date as to when we will be done with the next update, but rest assured, it's coming. Throughout this post you've been seeing little peaks at what the future holds in terms of level. We hope all of you can wait a little longer for the next update. It will be worth it.
Until then...
