Psych Patch Notes — May 24, 2022
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello everyone!
Today we have a lot of information about the development of the fourth chapter of Psych and some sneak peeks.
First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize for not being able to keep the announced release date. Many of you don't know that much about us (MediaTale), the team behind Psych. Only one person is actively working with the game engine Unity, which is used to develop Psych. In the past few weeks, new development tools have been tried out, which should make development more efficient and fun in the long run. However, such internal restructuring takes some time, but it will definitely be worth it in the future. Nevertheless, we are working day by day and listening to every single feedback in order to provide you with the best possible game experience.
We had planned to be ready with the fourth chapter by the end of April at the latest, but now we have to postpone it until July at the latest in order to be able to deliver all of our planned content. Many of you have already shown great understanding and we hope that you can be patient a little longer this time too. We thank you very much in advance!
Now we come to the fourth chapter of Psych:
*Warning, this section might contain some spoilers for people who haven't played the third chapter yet*
When Alex found an exit to the underground in the sewers, he barely avoided the train. He lost consciousness. However, the strong urge to find his sister Sam made him wake up quickly. Alex now finds himself in a completely new environment where he is in for some very nasty surprises.

Some things in the fourth chapter make Alex realize something. Something that he himself does not want to believe. He does everything he can to find Sam. Alex is back in his flat when the doorbell suddenly starts ringing in the middle of the night. He hears a giggle. A strange but nevertheless very familiar giggle. Is it... Sam?

For the fourth chapter we have implemented some features that we hope you will enjoy. One of them, for example, you can see here:

In addition to important story sections, there will also be more horror, a familiar face returns that you won't want to look into on purpose.
I hope you're as excited as we are about the upcoming releases of Chapters 4 and 5! We also have a little announcement for you at the end of this release: Once all the chapters of Psych have been released and Sam has been found, there won't be a moment for you to catch your breath. Be prepared for something big in our journey together...
Until then, thank you, enjoy playing and feel free to keep sending us feedback on the existing chapters! If you haven't rated Psych on Steam yet, we would really appreciate a positive review, it really helps us out!
