Pool Nation FX is out and in the middle of its second update, so I thiought I'd keep you abreast of our progress so far and this ones a big one!

This update see's the Introduction of the first stage of the Pool Hall, a living online pool experience, bringing digital pool to life...

The Pool Hall Menu

The Pool Hall is much more than an online menu. This is the online hub where all online matches are displayed, joined, created and edited in one place. Live updates of the table state are displayed, so this menu itself feels alive.

This is only the first stage of the pool hall experience, soon you will be able to spectate matches, join in group chat, play winner stays on and more.

The Pool Hall implementation in its first stage is not just a new online menu experience we have also created a new online venue.

Snooker Rules Updated

Include:
Spotting balls correctly
Baulk colours spotted correctly
Updated points accounted correctly on a foul

Table friction in Snooker and Pool

We have altered the table friction before the implementation of the slider to ensure the default speeds we are working on feel correct this has been updated for Snooker and Pool

Full Patch Notes:
- Snooker players now break correctly, playing a proper snooker break.
- Mute/unmute hints when using controller
- Accepting invite from main menu no longer disables the controller
- Hot swapping between mouse/kb enabled throughout
- Resolution options filled from list of resolutions supported by the monitor
- Endurance best time now retrieved when going to endurance menu
- Removed hints from overhead view
- Can now choose from 3 different 'watch' camera types
- Disabled text chat in single player
- Fixes for graphics menu not working correctly with controller
- Brand new online Map. The pool hall.
- Fixed an issue with drawing double info on tour win when we had endurance bonus match
- Fixed horrible noise playing sometimes when a ball is entering a pocket
- Increased speed of tables and started the basics for implementing a table - speed option
- Update drop stop music correctly if we foul/restart endurance.
- Reduced the occurrence of the random crash bug.
- Fixed issue with preferences being lost if you play in offline mode
- Prize fund now drawn on HUD when in Play For Cash
- Respotting balls in snooker now follows official snooker rules
- Player can now claim the frame when they are on black and >7 points ahead in snooker
- Hitting reds on two consecutive shots now gives 7 points away instead of 4.
- Endurance sound/music coming back when fouling in drop stop.
- New resolutions listing.
- Controller speeds on some menus.
- New follow ball camera.
- New game mode in pool hall to create match and easily play with aiming aid off.
