We just released a minor update on the preview branch. The controller support has been extended and should work fine now on macOS and Linux. Thank you for the bug reports!
Changelog Version 1.1.7b14:
- Fixed some issues with the Linux build
- MacOS build is now also working with controllers
- Added support for more controller types: PlayStation controllers now supported.
- Fix a crash with OpenGL
- Fixed a bug that caused tooltips to not work as intended in some situations
