PANELKI Patch Notes — September 20, 2024
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.

Dear players! I have been working on a new project with my team for over a year now, so it was decided to stop supporting PANELKI, including the release of updates. However, I regularly receive feedback with a variety of content, including both extremely positive feedback, which makes me incredibly happy, and requests to fix certain problems in order to enjoy the game with comfort - mostly about the impossibility to play on AMD graphics cards of some series.
Because of this, I decided to allocate some time for an update that I can call the last one (not counting hotfixes or minor changes), at least for now.
To fix the “AMD-gate”, I decided to update the game project to Unreal Engine 5 at once, at the same time getting improvements in graphics and performance (I hope), as well as adding those changes to the game that it has been waiting for a long time.
Full list of PANELKI 1.4.0 updates:
- Update to Unreal Engine 5
- AMD graphics cards shutdown fixed
- Graphics changes, including improved light and shadows, window glow and many others
- Animation of falling from a great height
- Restricted network play to two people (apologies, couldn't fix >2 people)
- Fixed roof clearing
- Improved character animations
- Improved cinematic mode
- Improved performance of low game settings
- Added varieties of lights in house windows and interior lamps in entrances
- Changed colors of fog and sky when changing time of day
- Improved display of fonts in the main menu
- Improved textures of houses and asphalt
- Fixed holes in high snow slides
- Fixed screen resolution change setting
- Improved user experience of single player game creation
- Fixed display of instructions in DLC delivery
Unfortunately, there is no support for old game saves in the new version. But you can always roll back to a previous version of the game via the “beta versions” section.
As always, you can leave bug reports in the appropriate thread in the “discussions” section of Steam Community.
You are also welcome to join the game's new Discord community, where you can discuss the update, find a friend to play together, or berate the developer: https://discord.gg/trrgWXYjkz

I'm grateful to every player who has played the game over these two and a half years, and to all those who choose to do so afterward. Thank you for this journey. ːSEMENː
