Huge Performance Increase Update
Out of Nowhere Patch Notes — February 20, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
🛠 Engine & Core Optimizations
Unreal Engine Leap (v5.3 → v5.7.3): We’ve migrated the entire project to version 5.7.3. This provides a more stable foundation and utilizes the latest compiler improvements for better execution speeds.
CPU Bottleneck Mitigation: Significant refactoring of game-thread logic has been completed. By reducing CPU overhead, we’ve unlocked much higher frame rates for players on high-end silicon.
Global Nanite Integration: To optimize rendering efficiency, Nanite is now enabled across all landscapes, vegetation, and 3D models. This move streamlines the geometry pipeline and reduces traditional bottlenecking caused by complex mesh data.
AMD FSR 4.0.3: Integration of the latest FidelityFX Super Resolution suite for improved upscaling logic and more robust frame generation.
📊 Performance Benchmarks
We’ve run internal tests to showcase the gains.
