On Your Hands 5.11 Released
On Your Hands Patch Notes — November 28, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
It's been a while! We're releasing On Your Hands version 5.11 with some helpful optimizations and some critical bug fixes. The detailed patch notes are below.
Fixed a longstanding issue that caused excessive VRAM usage on Linux when using magic bolts due to some edge cases in the Vulkan API. This fix should significantly reduce VRAM usage when on Linux and bring the usage amount closer to Windows with DX12. Steam Deck players rejoice!
Massive optimizations for MAP20. This level was one of the last holdouts for the suite of optimization passes due to its sheer complexity.
Fixed the toggle command not working due to some bugs in the updated door code. This has been reverted to previous functionality.
Fixed bugs in our internal "ObjectMover" actor which caused some game breaking softlocks in most levels.
Added a benchmark level you can access with the warp command. It is in a very basic state and will be updated in the future so scores should not be compared between this version and future updates unless specified.
Updated the credits.
Added a proper diegetic FPS counter, replacing the default UE5 "stat fps" counter.
Fixed the speed of the Oobl Ghost (MAP17) being tied to the player's framerate.
Added some experimental controller rumble additions specifically for use in MAP09.
A lot of small optimization passes on almost every map in the game.
We appreciate the patience on rolling out a few of the critical fixes needed to get the game back to our standards. The whole team has been hard at work on Delta Perspective so not a lot of time has been spent looking back at On Your Hands other than Hannah's (Hi! that's me) free time.
This will be the final versioned update for the foreseeable future unless any more major bugs are discovered and need squashing but please keep a look out for an On Your Hands related announcement in the near future! (SoonTM)
