OHV Patch Notes — January 21, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Changelog:
- changes to the item pickup system - once picked up, an item will retain its position and rotation. Dropping an item will be done with a single press of the button, and holding will allow rotation and distance changes. Pressing the button will reset the position and rotation to default values.
- added a screen in the game menu with a preview of the player's skills and basic statistics
- auto welding - reaching the maximum level of the "Welding" skill will unlock automatic welding. Electrodes in the welder will be still required
- ignoring collisions when building - reaching the maximum level of the "building" skill (a new skill in the game) will unlock the option to disable collision checking when matching an element (connection will still be required)
- auto Nailing - reaching the maximum level of the "Nailing" skill (new skill in the game) will unlock automatic nail driving
-simplified steel plate cutting mode - after using the cutting mat, you will only be able to target the SAM vehicle element. No connections or collisions will be checked for the cut plate; the game will assume that the cut plate is connected to the originally selected element. The cut plate fitting mode will be removed. After accepting the selected shape, the plate will be immediately ready for welding. The welding area has been increased to cover the entire plate surface.
- dovecotes no longer light up at night after burning
- fixed a bug with purchasing a gas cylinder that didn't spawn despite spending money
- vehicle physics fixes, wheels will ignore collisions with pick-up items (e.g. a board inserted into a wheel will no longer cause the vehicle to shoot)
- removing levers and door handles from the game, from now on they are operated from the action menu under the middle mouse button (active when the vehicle is in driving mode and the player is next to the vehicle or with 1 person in the vehicle)
- change in the method of rotating elements during welding preparations. From now on, each rotation axis is adjusted separately, and the rotation increment is 5 degrees (1 degree when is pressed, 45 degrees when is pressed). If the system is successful, a similar one will be used in building construction.
- during the welding test, the element is always positioned perpendicularly
Since this build includes significant changes to the core game mechanics, there may be new bugs. If you encounter any, I'd appreciate it if you could report them.
