Concerning the Nitro Express Demo
Nitro Express Patch Notes — March 27, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
In the demo released for Steam Next Fest in February 2025, there was an issue where certain enemies that should only have moved when the player display area approached them became active from the start of the stage, which caused them to shoot at the player from offscreen.
During the final check of the demo before it was released for the event, PLAYISM requested Grayfax Software to fix a bug that occurred in the Pixel Game Maker MV menu screen by replacing and updating the PGMMV runtime data. In-engine playtests showed the game working as intended, but the aforementioned issue occurred in the actual game build. Insufficient further playtesting by PLAYISM led to the release of a game build that did not work as intended by Grayfax Software, which negatively affected players' experience with the demo.
This issue will be limited to the demo and will be fixed in the final product. We hope you will continue to look forward to the release of Nitro Express.
